Well kind of a new release. AnyEdit needs a lot of changes, but i don't want it to look like the projects is not coming along. So i decided to release development snapshots with the latest changes to the code. This snapshot has got more features than the Beta 3 version. October 12, 2005 17:30 UTC - What's next?

People in the forum keep asking if AnyEdit is still alive and when a new release will become available. But before anwsering that question first an explanation about the stand still. Around our last release we came to the conclusion that our User Interface Toolkit was holding back our development. Our first effort in replacing it failed and we didn't know how to carry on. The only thing we have done is research and other projects beside AnyEdit. After reading the posts on the forum people still think our project has potential and is a good free alternative. That motivated me to pick up the project again and start by making some major decisions for the future. Before we can carry out our future plans we still have a few enhancements and bug-fixes waiting to be released. So our first goal will be to make the long awaited Beta 4 release, which we plan to get out this month. Please hold on a little longer and we'll promise to make AnyEdit better.

March 21, 2005 11:26 UTC - New Website

After being struck by a php-worm and other problems we lost our web-site, but today we release the new site. It was time for something new, because we need to have a more professional look, if we want to attract more users. In the last months we didn't miss our cms, so we created a very simple, but still compelling site that perfectly suit our needs. Have fun!
